Balchik – Kaliakra

Half-day excursion with picnic dinner

On this excursion, you will visit the incredible Botanical Garden and Palace in Balchik – some of the most beautiful places on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. The former summer residence of the Romanian queen and the well-landscaped gardens around it have an inspiring effect on every visitor, especially when combined with the magnificent view of the sea coast.

In the Botanical Garden, you will also visit a wine cellar that will impress you with its white and red wines, with incredible taste and rare aromas.

On the way to the Botanical Garden, you will also visit a pottery workshop, where you will be welcomed by master potter Emil and his wife. In just a few minutes, you will see how the master craftsman creates beautiful jugs and vases with exquisite ornaments.

After the Botanical Garden, you will also visit the magnificent Kaliakra Cape – one of the most beautiful places on our northern Black Sea coast. Extending 2 km into the sea, Kaliakra Cape is the longest cape on the Bulgarian coast. It welcomes its guests with the legendary remains of a fortress built in the 4th century BC.

The excursion ends with a picnic dinner with a rich folklore program and fire-dancing.
