One-day excursion
The excursion includes a visit to the “Pobiti Kamani” (Struck Stones) near Varna and the “Barite” tourist complex in the village of Chernevo.
The Pobiti Kamani are a unique natural phenomenon located 18 km from Varna. They were formed 50 million years ago when the area was a sea bed. They were formed 50 million years ago when the area was the seabed. The “Pobiti Kamani” are incredible limestone columns up to 5-7 km high, which are hollow inside. They are shaped like thrones, vases, families, people, and camels.
The Barite tourist complex is located in a small forest. The restaurant is in national style. The complex has an ethnographic collection and an open-air museum of crafts. The complex offers demonstrations of crafts, in which tourists can also participate. During lunch, you will enjoy traditional Bulgarian dishes, Bulgarian folk dances, and ancient traditions. The complex has playgrounds and small ponds stocked with carp.
